Fun with Giant Pachyderms
The elephant is arguably the most popular animal at any zoo in the world. Here is a chance to have one at your very own event. Choose from an adult elephant or a sub-adult elephant, or both, and watch how kids are attracted to elephants. The elephants may perform logging demonstrations, natural elephant behavior and/or elephant rides. For more information on elephant rides, click here.
Please note, however, that although we have featured Thai Show Elephants in our program line-up until 2006, that program is no longer available in the country.

Preparing for Elephant Encounters
Here is a list of some items and/or requirements required before Elephant Encounters may be approved or considered for your venue/location:
1. Elephant Mounting Station (where required);
2.
Safety barrier;
3. Minimum distance between animals and spectators;
4. Additional security personnel;
5. Safety protocols;
6. Spacious area;

Please note that we will require at least 2-3 weeks notice to confirm a Wildlife Encounters program for your event, venue or location.
Pyrotechnics and/or fireworks strictly prohibited when elephants are within a 10 km radius of event.
